A way of life centered on Jesus.
The Way is a Jesus-centered Christian community in Costa Mesa devoted to His presence, His Word and the work of the Holy Spirit.
Why “The Way”?
In the book of Acts, followers of Jesus are repeatedly described as belonging to “the Way.” Their faith was not merely a set of ideas. It was a life centered on Jesus.
Jesus said, “I am the way, the truth and the life.” We want to rediscover the simplicity of that invitation: follow Jesus.
Our heart
We want to be a place where contemporary people can genuinely meet with God—not simply attend a religious event.
We make room for worship, Scripture, prayer, silence, communion, community, formation and the movement of the Holy Spirit.
A life attentive to Jesus.
We want our life together to be shaped by prayer, Scripture, attentiveness, simplicity, community and deep love for Jesus.
We create space to slow down, listen, worship, receive from God and respond to the Holy Spirit in the middle of ordinary life.
